Paul McShane Architecture appointment details:
Statutory Consents & Architectural Detailing
Our Client originally occupied the 1st and 2nd floors of this large property and seized an opportunity to purchase the ground floor.
They appointed Paul McShane Architecture to carry out necessary Architectural details and gain statutory consents ro re-connect the entire property from ground upwards and restore most of the rooms to the original character and use.
The Client was also keen to preserve the character of the property, doors and the new stair flights, balusters and newels. Therefore all are designed to replicate originals. The kitchen will be relocated and reinstated to the ground floor and a beautiful hand painted design for stained glass window will be installed to the window to the stairwell.
The overall concept was to remain sympathetic to the overall character, preserving, cornicing, architraves and detailing.
Progress photographs and finished works will be added in due course.
